CSA Completes Protected Species Observer Campaign for Chevron Mediterranean Limited.

CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA), a global marine environmental consulting firm, recently supported Chevron Mediterranean Limited (CML) on a major subsea infrastructure pipelaying project in waters offshore Israel performed by the Allseas Group S.A (Allseas). CSA provided a team of expert Protected Species Observers (PSOs) from its Israel office to guarantee that all activities complied with established environmental regulations and that mitigation measures were in place to minimalize any potential impact on local marine protected species.

CSA’s PSOs performed observations aboard the offshore pipelaying giant, the MV Solitaire, and support vessels provided by Allseas, and played an instrumental role in mitigating the risk of vessel strikes on marine mammals and sea turtles.

"We are proud to have contributed our subject matter expertise to this milestone project," said Mr. Elad Mills, Chief Executive Officer of CSA’s Israel office. "Our team's dedication to marine conservation and responsible offshore exploration and production operations aligns perfectly with both the environmental standards set by the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection and the expectations of our valued clients and partners."

This collaborative effort underscores the growing importance of ongoing marine scientific study for responsible and sustainable construction and maintenance of offshore energy infrastructure, while highlighting CSA's position as a leading provider of best-in-class environmental consulting services both in the Eastern Mediterranean and around the world.
