CSA Ocean Sciences Inc., (CSA) a leader in Marine Environmental Sciences and Services, has announced the expansion of its Permitting Business Line to address the increased level of activity in both the Oil & Gas as well as the Telecom industries. The expansion includes the addition of technical and science resources in the Permitting Business Line, the expansion of the company’s GIS department, the acquisition of new computer systems and software, as well as a focused effort to expand the company’s international network of alliance partners. To support the desk top work and route analysis efforts, CSA is also adding capability to the company’s Marine Services division with the addition of new High Resolution Imaging Systems as well as Coastal and Shallow Water Coring Systems.

CSA Remove Debris from Coral Reefs in Biscayne National Park

CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA) conducted a derelict trap and debris removal project off southeast Florida from 4 through 15 June 2007 under contract to the U.S. Department of Interior National Park Service (NPS). The project was developed by Biscayne National Park (BISC) and funded through a settlement claim from a vessel grounding that caused natural resource injury.

CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. Awarded Minerals Management Service Contract

CSA Ocean Sciences Inc. (CSA) was awarded the prime contract by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service for the Analysis of Potential Biological and Physical Impacts of Dredging Offshore Ridge and Shoal Features. The purpose of the project is to examine and evaluate potential impacts and suggest engineering options and mitigation measures that can be implemented to avoid deleterious effects, while allowing for selective removal of needed sand volumes. Following completion of the study report, the results will be published in a peer-reviewed journal and presented at a scientific conference by CSA scientists.
