CSA Trinidad, a wholly owned local subsidiary of CSA Ocean Sciences (CSA), is happy to announce that it successfully achieved full Safe TO Work (STOW) recertification, achieving a score of 100% from the STOW Implementation Board, Energy Chamber Trinidad and Tobago (ECTT).

The STOW program and certification process was created in 2004 by ECTT to help its members streamline the process of prequalifying a local contractors’ Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) management system.

CSA Trinidad is now proudly recertified in the High-Risk category to conduct environmental services, including environmental consulting, onshore/offshore environmental studies, nearshore and offshore hydrographic surveys, and environmental and social impact assessments.

CSA has successfully carried out thousands of multidisciplinary marine survey campaigns over the company’s 53-year history for more than 650 clients in 76 countries. CSA conducted its first project in Trinidad in 1977 and in 2008, having established a long-standing and exemplary track record among oil and gas majors in the region, opened an office on the island. CSA Trinidad was officially inaugurated in 2017 and to date has successfully delivered over 100 marine survey projects in shallow, deep, and ultra-deep marine offshore environments offshore Suriname, Guyana, Barbados, and the wider Caribbean, all underpinned by the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS).
