With a multidisciplinary team of over 80 scientific experts, CSA has the resources necessary to provide clients with smart, innovative solutions to a full range of environmental issues. CSA personnel are formally trained and experienced in the U.S. NEPA process as well as internationally-recognized standards such as Equator Principles (EP), International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards, and World Bank Group Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines for pollution prevention, control, and monitoring.

CSA’s portfolio of domestically-based projects includes a broad range of data collection and sampling services, habitat management, assessment and restoration, data synthesis, and scientific studies. Our staff has an extensive background conducting permitting activities and studies associated with a range of federal government agencies, including the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM); Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE); U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); U.S. Department of Defense (DoD ); National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA); U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ); U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA); U.S. Department of Energy (DOE); and the National Park Service (NPS).

International

Our international expertise ranges from studies conducted for the United Nations to the Cayman Island government, for which CSA has provided EIAs that comply with and follow World Bank environmental principles, IFC environmental and social safeguard policies, and the EHS guidelines update of the World Bank Group (prepared by the IFC), as required for each proposed project. In addition, CSA is well-versed in the acquisition of international environmental and survey permits for regions including the Middle East, Mediterranean, Africa, Asia and South Pacific, South America, and the Caribbean. Our focus on high-quality, scientifically sound, and innovative environmental solutions has established CSA as an expert in coastal and marine-related studies.
