Since 1970, CSA has specialized in assessing the risks and potential impacts to marine mammals, sea turtles, and other marine life posed by human activities in the world’s oceans and coastal habitats. In addition to conducting baseline studies, data gap analyses, and impact assessments, CSA has designed and implemented mitigation and monitoring procedures to specifically address marine mammal and sea turtle issues, including those related to anthropogenic sound in the marine environment.
